ASUS continues to present new items . Another laptop known company - Ecobook - partly made of bamboo. And done nicely. And the filling is not bad.
Ecobooks will be two models. One with a 11.1-inch display, the second with a 12.1-inch (the resolution of both screens is 1280 × 768). Dimensions of new products are 30 × 22 × 2.53-3.16 cm and weigh 1.57 kg (12.1 inches) and 27.7 × 19.4 × 2.49-2.9 cm and weigh 1.25 kg (11.1-inch).
Inside a typewriter (talking about the “flagship” with a 12.1-inch display) running on Vista (nothing can be done), Intel T9400 / P8600 / P8400 Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce 9300M with 256 MB and 320 GB hybrid HDD .
The junior model boasts an Intel Core Duo U7600, an integrated Intel GMA X3100 video, a PATA drive (from 80 to 120 GB) and a 32-gigabyte SSD. Both models have WiFi (12.1-inch WiMax also), a webcam, a card reader, a DVD drive and the ability to install up to 4 GB of RAM.

On sale Ecobook will appear before the end of the year. How much will cost new bamboo laptops is not yet known.
