Habr - Podcasts = Love

Dear friends. It seems to me almost for everyone already that Habr lost podcasts, and podcasts lost Habr. But why around this story such a stir? The obvious reasons why podcasters became not interested in Habr as a platform:

1. It is difficult for a podcast to get on the first page, it’s not there for long. In this case, the production of a podcast with a length of 15 minutes usually takes half an hour. It took 7 minutes to write this note.
2. Habr changed the audience, the current audience does not want to listen, but only wants to read. This is normal; in the fast data world, content is not a unit of value.
3. Most of the podcasters were local "old men", and the new Habr does not tolerate old men. This is normal, the social network revolution always leads to increased attendance.

Let's go further. Have you lost something from this Habr? No, not lost. Because:

1. In the new Habré there is no place for podcasts.
2. Audiences do not need podcasts.
3. Habra does not need podcasters.
')
Whether podcasts or podcasters lost something from the fact that they are no longer laid out on Habr? No, not lost.

1. Habr never brought the audience to podcasts.
2. Audience habr as soc. networks do not need podcasters.
3. Podcasters remained within the social. networks and may well behave like regular members of this network, without podcasts.

Moral: absent. Dear friends, stop being nervous and blaming each other. Nobody has lost anything, no one owes nothing to anyone. Ways Habra and podcasts diverged. Someday they will converge again or will not converge, no big deal. Former podcasters remained on Habré and no one bothers them to comment, write, read.
Brothers and sisters. Love one another.
