Not so long ago, or, more precisely, at the beginning of August, during the first Russian non-conference iCamp-2008 , which took place in Moscow, representatives of Opera Software managed to communicate with the Russian leadership of LiveJournal (also known as LiveJournal). The reason for the communication was the fact that Opera users were deprived of some functionality when working with this popular blog service all over the world. In particular, the Rich Text Editor used to create messages, which greatly simplifies the process of giving your posts a prettier appearance through the use of formatting, practically did not work in any way in the Norwegian browser. Now you can write about this in the past tense - the other day, the developers of LiveJournal reported that RTE is now fully operational in Opera. In order to implement this very joyful for Opera users, achievements of LJ programmers corrected many errors in the RTE code (by the way, based on the free code of the FCKeditor project), and also made all the necessary changes.
