"Fight with the code"
Starting today, the first stage of the contest of young programmers, entitled “Fight with code”, organized by the Moscow State University Medical University Training Center and the Softline Academy, starts. This stage, called theoretical, will continue until September 11. The winners will be able to take part in the second round (from September 15 to September 19), which is already practical, where they will be able to test their programming skills and search for errors.
Online testing (the first stage) on the site of the it-university will be open to anyone. And the test can be passed an unlimited number of times: only the last attempt will be counted. Ninety people who have scored the maximum number of points will go to the second round. Which will be held on the basis of computer classes of the Training Center VMK MSU & Softline Academy. At this stage of the competition, participants will be provided with a computer with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and MSDN installed. The task: to solve the maximum number of tasks - both on writing your own code, and on searching for errors.
Award winners will be held on September 23. Prizes include video cards, motherboards, power supplies, keyboards and mice.
