Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during the
online conference gave way to public interest and answered the question about the “Olban” language as a subject for systematic study in schools. He prefaced his answer with a few words about the Bear, who is a “popular Internet character”. Speaking directly about Albanian, Medvedev noted the impossibility to ignore the need to learn this “language”. “Although, in my opinion, there is no less need to learn Russian,” he added.
Medvedev himself defined the Albanian dialect as “an alternative Russian language” and “a phenomenon existing in the Internet environment today”: “Someone may say that this is a change in the norms and rules of the Russian language, but it is an existing, developing language environment, living environment which, by the way, is still based on Russian. ”
The first deputy prime minister said that this environment is created by Internet products and Internet interaction. A kind of commentary to the recent
scandal around the initiatives of the Deputy Viktor Alksnis can be considered the following words that with this environment "must be considered at least": "She may like, she may not like."

Before the problems of Russian-Albanian linguistics, Dmitry Medvedev addressed another issue, hotly supported by the Internet community. The author of the question, Anton Nosik,
formulated it like this: “I found out with interest from your speech in the State Duma on January 24 that the swindlers had concentrated in the pharmaceutical industry. Can you give specific names? ” “You know, I once studied to be a lawyer, and, of course, before the court’s verdicts entered into force, it would not be very correct to name specific names,” said the first deputy prime minister. He further confirmed that such rogues really exist, and they are being investigated.
The question about Fidonet, asked on behalf of Sergey Sokolov, known in Runet under the nickname Mithgol, also found his answer. Dmitry Medvedev, as it turned out, was preparing for it ahead of time - he registered in Fido on the eve of the conference. Having received an idea of the "beast", the First Deputy Prime Minister shared his definition of this network with the audience. He lacks, in his opinion, hypertext.
Responding to a question about the development of affordable unlimited Internet in the regions, Medvedev assured that the state is investing precisely in the development of the “wide band”. He illustrated the work in this direction with an example of schools that were connected as part of the Education national project.
