The
GSC company, having released the prequel expected by many to S....... titled “Clear Sky” a week earlier than scheduled (and two weeks earlier than the European release scheduled for September 5) fell under the distribution of frustrated fans.
The main claim to the GSC is the terrifying quality of the game in technical terms. At the
official forum and in the
discussion threads on numerous websites dedicated to “Clean Sky”, starting from the first day of release, a huge number of
complaints and
reports about critical game bugs have accumulated. Unlike “S.T.AL.K.E.R. Shadows of Chernobyl ”, which also did not differ in stability and good optimization, but was generally playable (the game could be completed without nerves even without patches), Clear Sky looks very neglected. In the overwhelming number of cases, crashs not only cause trouble (or do not allow to go further if they are connected with the script of key characters scripts), but also tightly “kill” all saved games.
Most of the players who bought the game (and the license costs an average of $ 15-20) agree that GSC decided to use Russian fans as beta testers. The first beta test (before the game was released) brought little fruit. And the first patch, which was released on the day of release, though made, but did not give any sense. Therefore, GSC is preparing the
second patch by September 5, thoroughly and carefully collecting data from the players. The fact that the game was launched to the world market on September 5th only fueled the fans' conviction that they were stupidly used in the beta test. And at first forcing to pay money for it. Apparently, the GSC decided that the release of such a raw product in Europe would not just undermine the company's image, but at the root would destroy trust in it.
Outrage of users has reached the limit. Up to appeals
to sue GSC : take advantage of current legislation and create a judicial precedent for other developers. I wonder if it will work out? Or does tolerance prevail?

PS
But those who bought a license in the form of a DVD-ROM have not yet joined the one who ordered an expensive gift edition ... Or does GSC expect that in a week (when the box with the “Clear Sky” gift option is on sale), will they have time to fix the worst bugs with patches?
