Google will launch Android Market

The Android developers blog has information that soon this platform will acquire an open content distribution service. With the help of Android Market, users can find, download and install programs and games.

Publish their programs in the Android Market will be able to any developers. The system does not yet provide for strict selection and control procedures (as in the App Store). According to the principle of publishing Android Market content, it will be possible to compare with Youtube: registration, download of the program, description, publication.

For starters, free programs will be posted on the service. Support for commercial applications will appear later.
