On August 27, on the eve of the Berlin IFA 2008 exhibition, Samsung announced the X360 laptop. Which already had time, according to the constantly growing phrase here and there, there is a common phrase, called "the murderer." This time MacBook Air. The phrase-slogan “lighter than air” unambiguously hints at what such an air lighter is the new X360.

The dimensions of the X360 are 31.1 Ă— 22.8 Ă— 1.67-3.09 cm. The weight of the new product is only 1.27 kg.

In this “ultra-thin and ultra-compact” case fit 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 800, Intel Centrino 2 ULV processor, integrated video X4500, 1 GB of RAM (with the ability to ramp up to 4 GB) and, most importantly, 128 GB SSD drive. The latter, however, can be changed to a 120-gigabyte HDD.

The stated period of work from one battery recharge is 10 hours.

The whole thing will come with Windows Vista. But how much and when he appeared on the shelves is not yet known.
