After I recently lost karma, I wanted to “grind” something on Habré. Considering my current vacation and time, I tried to add improvements through the GreaseMonkey script.
Having started, I could not stop and added a couple more additions.
Upd: now for Opera
Upd March 3, 2009: the new version has stopped working, and some functions do not work correctly, wait for updates ... later
Upd of March 6, 2009: fixed critical errors for which it stopped working.

For karma-poor
1. Removed the voting arrows from the topics ...

2. ... and in the comments

For a more comfortable viewing
3. Expander
Implemented the idea from the
habracut expander script (by bebopkid), which stopped working on the super gab.
The principle is simple, in any place where the collapsed topics are visible, the “expand” link is added to the information bar, which AJAX loads the full content and immediately displays it.
the picture is clickable4. Not zahabrennye topics
I noticed recently that often in not zahabrenny topics something interesting passes that I do not have time to notice. Therefore, in the right column, I removed the block of advertising (it is still shot by Adblock and hung in the empty space) and tags (I don't need them). On the vacant space added a new block "Not zahabrennye". It loads the last ten topics from
habrahabr.ru/new .

On the first page, this block unfolds automatically, on the rest as desired. The time when the topic was published is written in red.
You
can install HabraImprover from the UserScript site without having to install Firefox and
GreaseMonkey before .
Of course, all these changes are very subjective, they make me happy, and someone will be very annoyed. In the final script, everything is broken into blocks and, if you don’t want any possibility, simply comment out the block. As you wish, new versions of the script will appear.
Upd. I thought and made a version for the carmo-rich. The same, but without the 1st and 2nd points.
Take in the same place .
Very Late Upd.Made a version for Opera, because it was not difficult =) Thanks for the hint
yolk .
You can download the version for the
carmo-poor or the
carmo-rich .
To install, put the file (any one) in the directory in which you store UserScript for Opera.
If you do not have such a directory - create it in a secluded place, put the file there. Then go to Tools -> (or Opera-> to Mac) -> Preferences-> Advanced-> Content-> JavaScript Options ...-> User JavaScript files-> specify the directory with the script.
The main thing is that the file should be called * .user.js, otherwise it will not work.
Tested on Opera 9.52 IntelMac version.
PS I hope hands reach the second version.
