Representatives of the company "Soup" reported raising the limit of friends in LiveJournal . Any participant, without violating the rules, can add up to 1000 users to his friends tape, and a paid account holder can add up to 2000 users.
Since the launch of LiveJournal, that is, since 1999, a LJ user could add up to 750 diaries to a group of friends. The lifting of the “friends” restriction was among the first promised innovations that the “Soup” was supposed to bring to life. It is worth noting that, despite the quota, many users were able to repeatedly exceed it using vulnerabilities in the LJ code. Some of them for this were temporarily left without logs: their accounts were blocked for using these very vulnerabilities, which is prohibited by the service agreement.
