The world's first DSLR with HD video recording

Nikon introduced its new DSLR D90, equipped with HD video recording.

Equipped with a three-inch LCD display, the 12.3-megapixel D90 also boasts an automatic dust removal system, enhanced Expeed Image Processor technology (noise reduction, ISO 6400) and Active D-Lighting (restoration of detail in bright areas) and face detection. The new camera is implemented and the Live View mode, which allows you to select a specific object to focus. He also received a separate button to start. There is a continuous shooting: 4.5 frames per second.

But the most that innovation is - the ability to record HD-video, which previously was not implemented in SLR cameras. Nikon D90 writes video with resolutions of 320 × 216, 640 × 424 and 1280 × 720 at a speed of 24 frames per second. Format - Motion JPEG. The length of the video with a resolution of 1280 × 720 does not exceed 5 minutes. At a resolution of 320 × 216 or 640 × 424, you can write 20-minute videos. In addition to the D90, you can buy a GPS module. In this case, the camera will automatically “tie” geodata to the video.
