Have you ever been called by celestials?
Well, let's say you're a young director, and suddenly your phone rings. You pick up the phone, and from there, "Hello, this is Guy Ritchie bothering you." Well, or you, for example, are a young ballerina and suddenly “Hello, this is Plisetskaya. I like the way you dance. ” Well, or, let's say, you are a young hacker, and then Kevin Mitnick calls you ...

One day
I was at work (on beautiful days, as a rule, I always sit at work, like everyone) and then the phone suddenly rang.
- Yes! - I snapped short and businesslike.
- Hell! - said the phone in a singing tone.
- indeed. - I answered politely.
- You speak English? - politely inquired at the other end in pure English.
- I understand your question. Yes ay doo! - I replied in less pure English.
- Good! - cheered up the phone. “This is bothering you from the Pixar studio.”
- Oh my God! - I didn’t believe it and only now I saw the phone number starting with one.
It turned out that this is indeed the studio “
Pixar ” and that our work did not go unnoticed by these monsters of animation. And that we are invited to the city of Emerville, near San Francisco, in order to get to know each other better.

Already on arrival at the studio, I talked with these people and I had the feeling that this was some kind of joke. We talked wonderfully about prospects, about cooperation, they showed me a studio (not all, of course), I came back, but I still had a feeling that I was played.
Although, I have business cards. And photos from the trip - here.

I apologize for the quality - my hands were trembling with excitement, the horizon collapsed, my eyes darkened.
')
PS Yes! The most important thing - about the "Gypsy" in Pixar talked. So they said “An interesting project. Maybe you will. ”That's what polite and cultured people mean. Never say in person: "You are funny, lovers ...".
But seriously - we also work to work. It was clear before the trip and it became crystal clear after it.

And a couple of pictures of San Francisco - a terrific city in which 800,000 people live in one family, where businessmen chase a Mercedes for a bicycle, where citizens drink coffee sitting on the asphalt, where sushi costs $ 4, where Alcatraz, Golden Gate, cablecar, Apple Silicon Valley, where Pixar finally.
