The problem with the support of Russian
When testing, I initially really liked Dompdf, but I found a very critical bug for a Russian user - the lack of Cyrillic support.
')
I decided to search the Internet for people with a similar problem and it turned out that there were a great many such cases.
Also, on one forum, I read that the problem may lie in the fonts that Dompdf uses. The class uses fonts with the extension
*.afm
.
I read that Cyrillic fonts can be converted to
*.afm
, but my weak Internet does not allow you to quickly download the necessary software.
I would like
to solve this problem
with your help . That such a common problem no longer occurs ;-)
Hooray! Problem solved!
The decision was kindly provided by
Kamael , for which many thanks to him. As I said, the problem was exactly in the fonts.
