In order not to annoy those whom this topic has got, everything is rendered under the cat.
So the meeting took place. It was very pleasant to see in person those who try to do something more from their own ideas than thinking about “how to sell to investors” at their leisure. So, impressions.
1. Most startups are done by IT specialists and, as a result,
all aspects not related to development (marketing, promotion (not SEO), definition of a business model) are not thought out at
all .
2. Most startups are in the clouds, telling what their users will do. Sometimes it is rather funny to hear this, but it is good that at the meeting
all the critics of the speakers were perceived adequately . As one of those present correctly noted, I
am very glad that there was no personal transition .
3. Meetings help a lot to figure out what is wrong with your project. 5 startups were presented (and in fact - 4), and only one of the speakers could go straight ahead and clearly answer all the questions (Maxim, an analogue of the Yandex.Market for the bourgeois). But in the criticism and discussion clearly traced specific advice, and it pleases.
4. The meeting was attended by 2 investors (meaning two groups of investors). This means there is interest on their part, and it’s not for nothing that start-ups began to gather.
5. All those present were adequate. For Moscow, this is a great rarity, there will definitely be a couple of trolls.
In general, we are waiting for what will come out of all this, whether it will be possible to maintain a working and friendly atmosphere.
