According to information received from the developers of HabraHabra (Denis Kryuchkov and Anatoly Alizar), the registration was not closed due to the intrusions of hackers who hacked some algorithms and generated strong bots. All these rumors have been refuted.

However, the developers confirmed the rumors about the transition to the invite to the system soon. That is, it will be possible to get to HabraHabr only by invitation from an already registered user.
Due to the fact that the invitation mechanism (invites) still needs to be improved, the registration has so far been suspended completely.
I hasten to inform you that the Tyabma habraiser has nothing to do with the development of Habr and has not received permission to publish this information either from Anatoly Alizar (who, by the way, is not the developer of Habr), neither from me, nor even from Denis Kryuchkov.
