Kiosks with a fingerprint scanner will allow servicemen to choose a diet and report their absence at a meal in the future (up to seven days), which will give canteens the ability to accurately calculate the amount of food.

The canteens are losing money because of the additions and because the soldiers often receive portions of their comrades in dismissal. Information about the required number of servings will accurately calculate the amount of food and eliminate the possibility of abuse of official authority in the procurement process. According to data obtained by Izvestia from unnamed experts, the cost of integration will amount to six hundred million rubles, and the Ministry of Defense predicts savings of up to 3.5 billion rubles a year.
Information kiosks with a fingerprint scanner will be installed in front of the distribution line in military units where more than one hundred and fifty people serve. Employees of the canteen will see a photo of the owner of the print and its diet.
