The Taiwanese company Arbor announced a full-featured UMPC G0710 based on the Intel Atom processor. This device has been certified according to IP-54 standard and military standard 810F. This means that the device is not afraid of blows, falling on a hard surface from a height of up to 1.2 meters, shaking, moisture, dust and exposure to corrosive media.
Previously, a similar product was presented by Panasonic - its protected computer based on Intel Atom is called Toughbook CF-U1. It also complies with IP-54 and 810F standards. The Toughbook CF-U1 ultra mobile PC uses an Atom Z520 chip operating at a clock speed of 1.33 GHz and a system bus frequency of 533 MHz. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, the role of the drive plays a solid-state disk based on flash memory (SSD) with a capacity of 16 GB (it is possible to install a 32 GB SSD).
