Ministry of Communications offers to provide free access to 122 sites

Today, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia submitted a draft order where it is proposed to provide free access to Runet users to 122 different sites as part of a universal communication service.

Other sites include the president’s website, the Security Council, governments, the State Duma, the Federation Council and the entire site pool on gov.ru), the websites of federal agencies and the highest judicial bodies.

The project also lists the servers of the Public Chamber, the Central Bank, the Central Election Commission, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Accounting Chamber of Goznak, a number of state funds and services, including gosuslugi.ru. There will also be free access to the portal of public services in Moscow.

It is worth noting that the government decree of December 2014 on the Universal Service Provisions added a clause on free access to government websites, including "websites of government agencies, the federal state information system" A single portal of state and municipal services (functions) "and some media sites .
