Google Glass is used for Schiphol, Amsterdam airport technology.

The Google Glass project is now frozen, and the new boss said that the second generation of glasses will be developed from scratch. So, now smart glasses from Google are being tested at Schiphol Airport , Amsterdam. Points are the technical staff of the airport, who need to quickly learn about the various changes, and carry out work in accordance with the changed regulations.



Schiphol workers began working with smart glasses from last month. The airport management hired several developers to create a special application, which was done. The application helps the technical staff to obtain the necessary data on a particular flight or a specific aircraft, with the information received on the projector of the glasses or the display of the smartphone displayed. In the future, developers will add to the application the function of determining the distance to objects, and a person will only need to look at the object to get the necessary information. Usually such measurements are made manually.
