Most of the advice to the creators of web projects is, in fact, reduced to a common sense: think about the user, do not abuse. Nevertheless, sometimes you have to face the horrible grimaces of Web2.0 in places where you don’t expect them at all.
Here, for example, is a simple as a log and useful service readbag.com. With one click, it allows you to send open pages in the browser to a special list, which you can then open on the road and read interesting articles.
It would seem, well, what can you spoil?

But the guys decided to integrate with Google services and spoiled almost everything they could. First, authentication. Google account is used: instead of the superlight password, which I usually use on such non-critical things, I have to use my most serious password. And you have to use it often: on mobile devices, Google authentication flies constantly.
Secondly, they have a super-convenient interface for mobile phones there. This padla opens all my precious pages in a special "mobilizer" Google. If anyone has seen this mobilizer, he will be horrified with me: the encoding curve, the refusal to open the pages of the habr, in general, why the hell have all this tuning in Opera Mini, which ideally opens any pages? But all normal people have long opened the web in a mobile phone through Opera Mini.
I put up with all this and made a bookmark for a normal iPhone version without idiot ... until one day all this rubbish stopped working on a mobile phone, getting stuck when I authenticated to one of Google’s intermediate pages.
But many competing services generally do not allow creating a password. If you think - why is he needed here, then?
Without fanaticism, gentlemen, I beg you. The laws of Murphy and for Google has not been canceled.
UPD For all those interested in streamlining the process of reading the news -
