The new game series Assassin's Creed will support eye management

The next game from the Assassin's Creed series called Rogue will support eye movement tracking . If everything goes as planned, this will be the first game of the first echelon with such a function.

Motion recognition will be possible using the Steel Series Sentry device costing $ 200. This is a set of infrared sensors in a single package that mounts on the bottom of the monitor and tracks the movement of the player’s eyes at a frequency of 50 Hz.

Eye movements will for the most part control the camera that displays the virtual world, and will complement the traditional keyboard and mouse controls. When you translate a look somewhere, your character will do the same. When you look away from the monitor, the game will pause.

Eye tracking gives us another method of controlling virtual reality (which, if properly used, should probably look like computer control with the help of thoughts). Recently, manufacturers have spoiled us with new devices - here are the Oculus Rift glasses for complete immersion in virtuality, and HoloLens for complementing reality with virtual objects.
