Ilon Mask announced in his Twitter account that the P85D will be faster by updating the software: the algorithm of the inverter, the device for converting DC to AC will be changed. A specific improvement figure was announced: the car will accelerate from 0 to 97 km / h (60 miles per hour) by about a tenth of a second faster.

An electric car does not have a gearbox, so it creates a feeling of constant acceleration without shifting gears.
