Bbs
As many remember, before there was such a thing as a BBS. People called each other using modems, terminalki went to the BBS (Maximus, RA, SuperBBS, ProBoard, etc.) and chatted with the sysop, downloaded files, left messages. Sysops colorfully decorated their BBS - ASCII / ANSI screensavers, various pictures, etc.
So, at Chaos Constructions'2008 we plan to install two mini-PBXs (Panasonic 206), connect them and provide internal telephony with 6 numbers at each station.
Configure BBS, take modems (1200 without MNP :)) and go ahead. We shake the old days!
