Two American Airlines planes searched for bombs due to threats posted via Twitter.

On January 24, two planes of domestic American flights boarded the F-16, and after the evacuation of the passengers they were searched with the help of special services with dogs for explosives. Fortunately, no bombs were found.

The reason for the confusion was two messages on Twitter posted by @kingZortic to the Delta support desk. In tweets, he said that he had placed a bomb on one of the two flights to Atlanta, but he just forgot which one. He also explained that he allegedly carried a bomb through the service entrance of the airport.

The company's security service took these reports very seriously, calling them “plausible threats”, which was the reason for escorting the planes with two fighters and a subsequent thorough search.
