The conference program “
RIT: High loads ” has been significantly updated. This is partly due to partnership agreements with members of the
Internet and Business Association (
Yandex, Rambler, Mail.ru, Ashmanov and partners, RBC-MediaMir and many others), and partly due to the enhanced work of the expert council.
About ten applications were submitted on the subject of designing scalable systems and choosing the architecture. Some of the most interesting ones came from
Andrey Shetuhin (architect of the
SUP Fabrik projects), theses are being specified.
Anton Fedorov is preparing a report on the choice of architecture for a loaded project, based on the examples of
Goodoo-IT and
Infoscan .
The developers of the
RBC-MediaMir holding - technical director
Alexander Gorny and the head of the system development department at
Loveplanet , Vlad Lesin - will share their experience in developing loaded services.
Igor Ermakov (
Mail.ru ) will talk about the architecture and features of the mail and Mail-agent.
Developers
RuCentre with a report on the loaded DNS are invited to participate in the section. Separately, I would like to highlight reports from
Smotri.com ,
Rutube on the organization of streaming and video caching. Mikhail Kostin, a former developer of
Aporta , who is currently working on
gogo.ru, will speak on video search and indexing.

In the section “Databases” a statement by Maxim Boguk (system architect
.masterhost ) was announced: “Using Slony-I in PostgreSQL solutions for large projects. Theory and practice".
In the same section, the leaders of
Postgresmen -
Nikolay Samokhvalov and
Ivan Zolotukhin will tell about the scaling of PostgreSQL. Prepare a report from their colleagues from
Skype .
In the section "Tools" there are two new reports. The first will be
done by Dmitry Koterov (
Yandex.MoyKrug ): “Memcached tags - Best Practice”. The second is Andrei Aksenov (
Sphinx ): “How to make a search on Sphinx”.
On administration and testing, we invited
Yandex employees to speak: Timur Khairullin (“Load Testing Techniques”) and
Maxim Lapan (“Yandex Monitoring System”), as well as
Sergey Martynov (Technical Director
NotaMedia ) and
Dmitry Lokhansky (
Z-Support CEO).
Dmitry Krikov (member of the expert council of the conference, technical director.
Masterhost ) and
Sergey Skvortsov (
SpyLog , head of the web services department) will decide on the topics of speeches by the end of the week.
