In the footsteps of the
post about saving rescuers cats and launching an IT volunteer project.

The results of the survey showed that approximately
one in three of us in one way or another participated in the free provision of it services to our friends, public organizations, or in some form helped open-source projects. A month ago, 174 people with experience in volunteering were noted on Hiktaimes in a
survey about an IT volunteer (
here it is on Github ).
After the first post, in a couple of days, over 600 people came to the it-volunteer, some of them registered, chose the task for themselves and helped this or that non-profit organization.
')
The current scale of the phenomenon
So, for the first 100 days, out of 7,300 visitors, 170 tasks turned out - on average 1-2 new tasks are added every day.
30 tasks have already been solved by volunteers, 40 are “in work” (a volunteer has been found, but the task has not been solved yet).
50+ tasks still waiting for volunteer helpOf course, not all tasks are formulated clearly and clearly, errors somewhere, difficulties somewhere, but the model is viable. Volunteers exist and they are among us.
Remember that the project code is fully open and available on
Github — you can make it better or upgrade your own version.
Please send your pull-requests, they will be useful.
Be sure to participate in the new survey.
