Megaphone - binding alerts to the location of the subscriber
Today sms came from the megaphone: they say, the nearest service center is located at such and such. The point is that with the help of triangulation, they determine my location and, based on this, choose the address sent to me. However, when I received an SMS, I was located in the Belorusskaya metro station, and I live in Mitino - the address came from their office in Krasnogorsk. Ie, either they have a sickly delay there, or they monitor where I spend the night and conclude that I live there.
On the one hand, this is innovation, and in general it is technologically and cool. On the other hand, these are actions at the level of automatic perusal of mail on Google, about which advocates of safety and anonymity argued a lot - why the hell do they monitor my location without asking? On the third, this office didn’t stand at all for me.
