Starting work on the preparation of a traditional review of the achievements of Runet in 2006, we suddenly found a lot of interesting projects. Thousands of them! If last year our hundreds literally had to scrape the bottom of the barrel and study the farthest nooks of the Runet in search of something worthy of attention and space on the printed page, then in 2008 there were more than enough candidates.
And what is nice - today there are more and more worthy projects. These are not just themed sites, entertainment portals or copy-pasteur news collectors, they are truly interactive online projects. Business, social, cartographic systems, video channels, Flash-resources and AJAX-systems ... The ideas of Web 2.0 perfectly got accustomed to the virtual soil of the Runet. And most of them are startups, newbies, who launched their Web projects in 2008 (or, at least, became famous this year, because many of them formally started earlier, staying in beta status for a while). And of course, it was not without several loud failures ;-)
But how to choose the most worthy? In cooperation with LiveJournal, we invite everyone to take part in the discussion of the best projects - or offer their candidates!
