Nintendo stops working in Brazil due to high taxes
In February, Nintendo will stop selling directly to Brazil. Companies will have to leave this market due to too high taxes, despite the importance of this market for the company. Therefore, all Brazilians who want to get licensed products from Nintendo - games and game consoles - will have to do it in January in the stores of the official partner of the company - Juegos de Video Latinoamérica.
Brazil is known for its high taxes for foreign companies - this is done in order to help local firms. Also, the country's authorities are conducting activities aimed at creating new jobs: to get rid of exorbitant taxes, the company can build a plant in the country, as Apple did in 2011 .
