Boots from Back to the Future
')
According to Nike, the auto-laced boots presented earlier by the company will go on sale this year. So far it is unclear how much this miracle of technology will cost, but these shoes will obviously please fans of the film.
It is still not clear how comfortable such shoes will be; all this remains to be learned.
Polaroid Zip: print photos directly from your smartphone
The company Polaroid from the market of photoproduction has not gone. Not so long ago, Polaroid showed a device with a built-in printer, which, as far as can be judged, occupied its niche.
Now the similar printer is presented in the form of autonomous model. Interestingly, there are no cartridges or ink here, printing is done using a special technology.
Data transfer is made via Bluetooth or NFC.
SCIO Molecular Scanner
The fundraising campaign for this scanner was able to bring developers more than 2.7 million US dollars instead of 200 thousand. In fact, this is one of the most successful Kickstarter fundraising campaigns.
The developers claim that their infrared spectrometer can perform a variety of tasks that can be very important for any person:
- find out the composition of drugs that you buy at the pharmacy. In any instruction there is a description of the composition, which can now be checked; - find out how many calories are in your food, any; - find out how ripe a vegetable or fruit that you are going to buy; - find out whether your home plants feel well; - find out what the composition of the soil that you use for your plants; - find out what additives are included in the products that you buy at the nearest supermarket; - find out how much quality alcoholic drink you bought just (find out right away, and not in the morning, when your head hurts after half a glass of drunk); - check the conformity of the quality / composition of products, both food and non-food, declared by the manufacturer.
This year, the SCIO scanner should go out in people (the price is about $ 300 in the USA).
Autonomous buttons for mobile devices
Satechi - buttons for remote control functions of a smartphone or tablet. Control is via Bluetooth. Satechi buttons work not only with Andoid, but also with iOS gadgets.
In this case, the kit comes with three buttons at once: to control the player, camera and work with the main screen of the device. The buttons can be fixed, for example, in a car or on the desktop.
For Satechi, iOS and Android applications have been released.
Io hawk
In addition to boots with an automatic lace-up system, another futuristic device was introduced at CES, which is a combination of a skateboard and a Segway.
This device balances about the same as the Segway. On one battery charge, the device can travel up to 18 kilometers, at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour.
It is quite an interesting option to get to work in the city with smooth sidewalks.
