Startup Senic is trying to change our ideas about computer management. Instead of a mouse, they suggest using a new unusual Flow controller. It can track four types of manipulations: pressing (like a button), a cylindrical rotating metal “belt” (like volume control) is located around it, it has a touch surface, and the most interesting thing is using an infrared sensor to track gestures of a hand in the air above the controller. At the same time, developers offer an open system for which everyone can create what he thinks necessary.
The startup organized a crowdfunding on the Indiegogo platform, and has already successfully collected three times the original amount of $ 50,000 - and until the end of the campaign five more days. Becker offers devices for $ 99 (start-up plans to sell Flow at retail for $ 150). First of all, the device is positioned as a convenient and more precise replacement of the mouse in graphic editors. The device works under the Bluetooth protocol, has replaceable batteries, which should last up to 4 months. Dimensions: 70 mm in diameter and 15 mm in height.
