Unmask: Emotional Respirator
In China, a respirator is worn because of polluted air, in Japan - in order not to catch the virus, in Moscow - while peat is burning. Designers have created a concept mask, which allows using the LED display to show emotions around.
The only minus of the mask is the limited social interactions, the inability to demonstrate your emotions. Designers Simone Rebaudengo and Paul Adams solved this problem by demonstrating the Unmask respirator concept with a LED display that can show four kinds of emotions: neutrality, surprise, smile and kiss.

For the manufacture of the device used Arduino board, LED-display and several other components. We do not plan to commercialize the device, it is a half-game, half-social experiment. Perhaps in the future, designers will make masks from other materials and with more portable components.
