This year we have seen a lot of new devices, presented by both major manufacturers and very young startups who collect money for Kickstarter. There were disappointments. Engadget
presented a selection of the least cool devices presented in 2014.

Samsung Gear S
Undoubtedly, it was a year of wearable electronics - smart watches, bracelets and other fashionable gadgets. Many of them are controlled by the Android Wear operating system. And Samsung's Gear S uses Tizen. Although this is a full-fledged smartphone on your hand, with which you can talk, Samsung Gear S does not allow you to activate yourself and install applications without a smartphone.

ZTE Sprint LivePro
The projector, media player and mobile access point to the ZTE Sprint LivePro network has one drawback: it cannot cope with the “top five” of any of the stated tasks. The battery lasts only for an hour and a half of the projector, and the display resolution is only 854x480 - the movie does not look normal.

Microsoft Band
There are devices that can be attributed to simple fitness trackers - with a minimum of unnecessary features, like the Jawbone UP24. There are gadgets that want to fill you with as much information as possible - like the Samsung Gear S smartphone on the wrist. And there are fitness trackers with a display like the Microsoft Band, which are a fitness tracker, but are also capable of showing notifications. The Microsoft bracelet has many useful features that are annihilated by one drawback: a hard bracelet makes you think that you are under house arrest.

iBuyPower SBX
The iBuyPower SBX entertainment system, which the manufacturer
requested not to confuse with a personal computer, is still more like a regular PC with 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB HDD. Without the SteamOS operating system, which Valve cannot release in any way, the device seems unfinished. And it cannot replace the Xbox or Playstation for which it was intended.

HP SlateBook 14
Laptop on Android from HP. Comments are superfluous.
