“We need to estimate how much the consumer is willing to pay for this function,” said Martynov. - If he is willing to pay an additional $ 3 or $ 5, and if a substantial share of users - more than 40% - will use this function, then it makes sense to invest. If this picture does not come out, then you have to wait. ”
The company is also studying a yellow photocell film that will generate electricity from the light falling on the screen.
Another technology is the use of the screen as sound speakers. “At the same time, the sound quality is good, even slightly better than through the speakers,” Martynov assured. “We have been actively working with this technology for the last 2 years.”
Another promising development is tactile feedback technology, which provides different sensations when clicking on different points of the display.
