Heroyza in Ukrainian

The company "Nival" began work on the Ukrainian localization of the game "Heroes of Might and Magic V" and addons to it. As it became known, the popular name of the series is practically unchanged and will sound like “The First Sword of the Mage”, however in most cases it was decided not to trace the names of races and units from the main Russian-English version, but turn to Ukrainian folklore for inspiration. So, by the spring of 2007, players will meet with:

Haven (people) - Lyudska Derzhava
Sylvan Elves - Lisovye Navki
Dark Elves - Pohmurі Navki
Necromancers - Chakhliki
Inferno (Demons) - BiSi
Wizards - Charovniki
Dwarves - Borodan

The names of units will acquire the Ukrainian specificity. So, Knight will be translated as "Kozak", Thane - "Hetman", etc.
