In honor of the decade of the popular TV show “Mad Money” on the American television channel CNBC, Apple CEO Tim Cook talked for an hour on the phone with presenter Jim Kramer. During the transfer, Cook shared his thoughts on ReserchKit, the company's competitors and the future of Apple products,
macrumors.com reports . When asked about how Apple’s CEO sees the “next frontier” for devices, Tim Cook stressed the importance of monitoring human health, along with smart homes and unmanned vehicles. According to Cook, devices such as the Apple Watch and services like the ResearchKit and the Health app are very important because they allow people to control their health and fitness, and the size of the fitness market, according to Apple CEO, is seriously underestimated.
Tim Cook talked about the company's new product, ResearchKit, announced last Monday, which "completely changes the rules of the game."
ResearchKit is a fully open source structure to facilitate the development of applications based on it. On the day of release, several applications were presented with it. Already on Wednesday, two days after the announcement, a group of developers from Stanford University announced that one of the applications already has 11,000 registered users.

During the conversation, Kramer wondered if we could use the example of Apple Watch to see in his lifetime a device that works in conjunction with HealthKit and is able to monitor such vital parameters as blood pressure, sugar level and diagnose cancer diseases. Tim Cook replied: "I am absolutely sure that we will see."
Answering the presenter’s question that Apple, represented by Cook, thinks about competition in this segment and doesn’t he think that other players were left far behind, Tim replied that the company always treats competitors “with a little paranoia”. Only this allows Apple to produce top quality products.
“We always think like paranoids. We live in paranoia. We always want to make a product of the highest quality and therefore we always strive to defeat a competitor, so that we do not do it, because otherwise they will sink us. We constantly go around the edge. ”- said Tim.
Cook often mentions Steve Jobs and stresses that his spirit still lives in the company, although many of the successful Apple products were already created under the leadership of Tim Cook after Jobs died. Apple CEO interview ended with congratulations to the host and the entire TV show, marking ten years on the air.
