IKEA showed what the kitchen will look like in 10 years
Smart table
The company IKEA, a giant in the world of furniture, published its vision of how the kitchen of a person who keeps up with the times in 10 years will change. She published the concept of "Kitchen 2025".
It would seem that you can think of in the process of making food? This ancient activity seems to have already been honed. Fire, knives, frying pan, saucepan, ladle ... But the twentieth century brought electricity to the kitchen - microwaves, electric stoves, induction heating plates and glass-ceramic coating. ')
The 21st century is only trying to invent a new approach, mainly using smartphones. 3D food printers - it’s not yet clear what they are for. Smart pans - doubtful. The gadget for controlling the stove is entertaining, and by the way, it could just be built into the stove.
IKEA offers its vision of 21st century cuisine:
Smart table
The table is combined with a video camera, video projector and induction hob.
The camera recognizes products laid out on the table. Move the products into one pile - and the computer will offer you options for recipes, including these products. The projector will bring options on the table. Choose an option and the projector will show you in detail what to do with each of the ingredients. You can also watch the training video on cooking dishes. This video could be recorded by professionals - or your friends and relatives.
After preparing the dishes, you can start cooking them without leaving the table - the induction heating elements are below the surface. They will also help keep your coffee warm while you are sitting at the table, and charge your gadget.
Open food storage
Fast food delivery by drones or other high-speed means will eliminate the need for weekly purchases and will allow you to store food on open shelves that do not waste electricity and do not hide food.
The bottom of the containers consists of an alloy of stainless steel and gadolinium. Double transparent walls keep the temperature and allow you to see the food. On the shelf, the induction method cools the container, and if it is rearranged on the table, the induction can heat the food to the desired temperature. The required storage and cooking temperature is read automatically from the RFID tag, which we re-paste from the food store packaging to the container.
Respect for waste
Organic waste entering the sink sink is squeezed dry and stored in the form of briquettes for reloading into a garbage truck.
The remaining water is used for watering household plants. Inorganic wastes are sorted by material and pressed into briquettes. Depending on the amount of waste that has to be disposed of, the family receives discounts on energy costs, or vice versa, extra charges.
Respect for water
The sink can swing around the axis - if the water is not very dirty, it can be drained to one side and sent to watering the plants. Very dirty water is drained into the sewer.
Future here
The table already has a working prototype. At least, product recognition and the projector showed at the exhibition:
