It is a pity to throw out old gadgets even if they are out of order. Fortunately, you can always find a decent use for them after death. One option is to build an art nouveau wall composition,
as Christopher J. Woodall
did from his crashed Kindle Touch 3G.
In such work, the most important thing is composition. It is not enough to disassemble the gadget into components, it is still necessary to decompose them beautifully on the “canvas”.
Christopher tried different options and settled on such a scheme.

Details he attached to a sheet of transparent plastic 12x24 inches, using double-sided tape. Bonding surfaces should preferably be rubbed with alcohol to achieve better contact.
It turned out so great that the author decided to do the same procedure with the old “iPod”. And now he has two decorations on the wall.

Of course, he is not the first engineer who turns old gadgets into the wall art form. For example, see
this collection for Dyson Air Multiplier, Apple MacBook Pro, OLPC XO-1, Apple iPad 1, Sony Flip Clock and 3COM Palm V handsets.
