Lumia Denim is on the way!

Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day, GeekTimes! Today we are short and to the point: there are two good news - Lumia Denim and L2TP.

Last week, Russian users of the Lumia 520 began to receive our latest update, Lumia Denim. Over the next weeks, all Lumia owners will receive it on WP8.1. We, according to tradition, made a special page where you can follow updates for different models (Lumia 535 and 730 come with Denim out of the box).

Among the innovations of Lumia Denim, we note the most striking:

1. Live folders - now application tiles can be combined into folders, for example, put together all the tiles of social networks.
2. Updated Lumia Camera - our flagship software for shooting has got a bunch of new chips - shooting in HDR, dynamic flash mode, reduced camera launch time and intervals between shots.
3. Shooting in 4K (for Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520)

Many people know that we have added VPN support in our previous Lumia Cyan update. Initially, we supported two VPN protocols:

• SSL-VPN - support for third-party servers via a plugin (for example, Juniper Networks JunOS Pulse VPN, SonicWALL Mobile Connect, F5 BIG-IP Edge Client and Checkpoint Mobile VPN)
• IKEv2 - native support

With Denim, everything is getting better - and we are adding support for another protocol:

• L2TP with IPSec - native support

(Anticipating comments - unfortunately, there is no information on PPTP support plans, everything is shrouded in a mist of secrecy around Windows 10).
