Very little time has passed since the announcement of the budget line of Intel Celeron / Pentium processors -
Gemini Lake , and Intel is already ready to offer you
a NUC mini-PC based on them . As the performance of the latest generation of Intel processors grows, the NUC is becoming increasingly suitable for replacing stationary PCs in many cases of home use and a variety of embedded solutions. This time, in addition to the “do it yourself” kits without memory and storage, consumers are offered a completely ready boxed version with the installed OS.

In total, this family consists of 2 models, NUC7CJYH and NUC7PJYH, based on
Intel Celeron J4005 and
Intel Pentium Silver J5005 processors, respectively. Processors, as already mentioned, are very similar, so the characteristics of the two NUC are almost identical.

The boxed version, officially called Intel NUC 7 Essential, a Mini PC with Windows 10, and shortly -
NUC7CJYSAL , built on the basis of NUC7CJYH (models with Celeron) by adding there 32GB eMMC, 4 GB of RAM and Microsoft Windows 10 Home operating system. The cost of this option is still unknown.
