In the realm of all this, I want to say once again about the simplicity of things. Why do complex things? This is what I do not understand. I’m talking about design <- I’m already fed up with this word. My opinion is that design is the science of simplification. All those who make trinkets, curls are no longer designers - a kind of artists. Their expression is. Some people buy this expression, some do not.
I want the business cards to stop writing the phone number and address. And that the name and surname of the person were the largest object on it. I want the DVD format to die - let it be all on flash drives. I want the customer to be much more important how it works, and not what is his logo. I want to avoid marketing - let it be stupid to design!
Everything goes to the side easier. We design the interface? Fine. But let's not put three buttons, and think about how to make it so that there are two. And one is better. Have you seen the program ArtRage or Pixelmator ?
That is why I am for such interfaces.
