Microsoft advises not to install Creators Update for Windows 10 manually

About two weeks ago, Microsoft introduced the final version of the new cumulative update for its Windows 10 operating system. This update adds several new features plus fixes existing operating system problems. True, the corporation posted an appeal to users the other day in which it asks not to install Creators Update manually, but wait until the system offers to update itself.

According to the developers, after the update received several million users, it turned out that Creators Update has several compatibility issues. Now they are solved online, artificially limiting the work of some elements. If you force the update, these restrictions will not work, and the user may receive a number of problems with his computer instead of new functions.

The main reason for this request is the relatively low level of compatibility of updates with some systems, especially older ones. Now the company sets itself the task, first of all, to update relatively new computers, and then proceed to update other systems. It is already known that Creators Update is incompatible with a number of Broadcom Bluetooth modules. After updating wireless data transmission via Bluetooth becomes impossible.

There are problems with other elements and systems. “We advise (in case you are not a very experienced user who can solve a number of technical problems) wait until Windows 10 Creators Update is automatically offered to you,” said one of the company's executives, John Cable. “When your device is added to the list of compatible ones, the system will warn you about the need to perform a series of privacy settings before the Creators Update is installed.”

According to the AdDuplex service, already about 10% of Windows-based systems are running the updated Windows 10. The first to update the hardware is Microsoft itself - that is, we are talking about the Surface range.

As far as it can be understood, Surface updates work well on Surface, although perhaps there may be some problems here. As for the other systems, according to representatives of the corporation, they will be updated soon, after the developers “clean the bugs” in the Creators Update. Corporate clients of the company will not receive an update right now. They will be able to install it only in a few months, when all the problem areas in the update will be fixed by Microsoft employees.
