Intel Animation Initiative

Intel, in the framework of the project The Mass Animation Project, decided to attract young animators for the "filming" of the short animated cartoon. Under the leadership of the former deputy director of Sony Pictures Entertainment and the president of Sony Pictures Digital, Yair Landau (Yair Landau), artists will be able to create small five-minute passages, from which the cartoon will later be assembled.

Accepting applications for participation in the project will begin this fall. Facebook has been chosen as a platform for communication, within which Intel launches a page where artists will be able to leave a request and download Autodesk Maya Unlimited, in which they will create their mini-works.

In the future, Reel FX Entertainment studio will be engaged in gluing together the pieces of the cartoon into a single whole.

Not bad guys decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Autodesk Maya . I hope something sensible will come out of this initiative.
