Hidden evaluation of topics encourages individual users to start

I noticed that after the introduction of the hidden evaluation of posts, the average score increased greatly: before there were not so many records whose score was too high for a hundred - and now on the main one it is almost every second post. As I understand it, initially this measure was introduced in order to avoid the herd effect “where everything is, there I am.” However, the bet on individualism gave such an unexpected side effect - earlier upon reaching a certain number of points (somewhere around 30), the average user perceived this as a sign that the post was already quite adequately evaluated - which means there is no longer any special point to add a point. Now, when instead of an assessment we see a dash, each our score is added as the first. Therefore, the activity and responsibility of habravchan in the issue of evaluating the work of colleagues has increased. Such a funny illustration on the theme of the superiority of the community of individuals over collectivism.
