“You are the clones!” Or new Mi Notebook Air ultrabooks from XIAOMI

For a short time, XIAOMI has managed to establish itself in the smartphone market (of which the Mi5 and Mi Max stand), wearable electronics, and are not even embarrassed to produce air purifiers, temperature sensors, humidity sensors and other accessories for the home . But we haven’t seen any laptops from it yet - there were rumors a long time ago, but ultrabooks were presented only a couple of days ago. And, it seems, we waited for a reason.

The long-awaited notebooks were called Mi Notebook Air, and already at this stage one can understand who XIAOMI was equal to (and probably wanted to surpass) in the process of creating new products. In appearance, laptops really remotely resemble MacBook Air, but there are some differences, and there are a lot of them - both in design and in technical characteristics.

')
First, let's talk about XIAOMI Mi Notebook Air 13.3. The ultrabook has an all-metal case, is made in a minimalist style and is already 13% thinner than the MacBook Air (the “thickest” part) - 14.8 mm versus 17 mm. Here we are also met by a full-fledged 13.3-inch Full HD display: in the same “airy” laptop from Apple, the screen resolution is 1440 x 900 pixels.

Small dimensions have been achieved thanks to the narrow frame of the screen - only 5.59 mm. Fortunately, this didn’t prevent the ultrabook from having two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Well, USB-C, of course, where without it.

Mi Notebook Air 13.3 runs on Windows 10. From the technical specifications, first of all I would like to mention the discrete graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX. None of the configurations of the MacBook Air is not, not to mention the 12-inch MacBook Retina. The processor is an Intel Core i5 (sixth generation), 8 GB RAM, and also a 256 GB SSD. A nice bonus was the ability to install another solid-state drive due to the presence of an additional slot.

An important addition was the 9.5 hours of battery life, AKG speaker system with Dolby support and ... yes, the backlit keyboard!

Owners of Mi Band 2 bracelets will definitely be delighted with the next function. A special addition to XIAOMI's Windows 10 allows you to unlock a laptop when a user approaches it with a fitness tracker on the wrist. You will not have time to sit down at your workplace, and Mi Notebook Air will already be ready for work.

Another version of the Mi Notebook Air comes with a screen diagonal of 12.5 inches, but the resolution was left unchanged - Full HD. The design is exactly the same, but the dimensions are noticeably smaller - the thickness is 12.9 mm, and the weight is 1.07 kg versus 1.24 kg for the 13.3-inch model.

The Intel Core M3 processor used in this version allows you to achieve 11.5-hour work without recharging. RAM less - 4 gigabytes, SSD 128 GB, but left the possibility of expanding the drive with an additional slot.

In general, Mi Notebook Air looks great - the cover of the ultrabook is clean in the first and second cases, so you can stick anything on it, even a sticker with an apple.

And now to the most important thing - prices. The ruble equivalent of a 12.5-inch version will cost about 35 thousand rubles, 13.3-inch - 50 thousand rubles. By the way, Mi Notebook Air 12.5 will soon be available in GearBest, and you have the opportunity to be one of the first to find out about its appearance and price update - just leave a request on the device page .

Although until the laptop went on sale, you can buy a huge number of other devices from XIAOMI on our website : for example, the XIAOMI Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker column can be picked up until August 31 for $ 37.29 on the coupon OriginalXiaoMi1, and aluminum Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker for $ 18.89 on SPEZJH coupon. And now we are selling XIAOMI Redmi Note 3 with 32 GB of internal memory, 3 GB RAM, a Full HD display with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and Android 5.0 on board (review, by the way, was in our blog ).

Stay tuned!
