[Updated] Copenhagen Suborbitals today launched another suborbital rocket
Copenhagen Suborbitals , a Danish non-profit aerospace organization, today launched another rocket - the Nexo I. The launch broadcast was available online from 12.15 to12.40 13.55 Moscow time. The launch was carried out from the Sputnik offshore platform in the Baltic Sea. The backup launch date was September 1 (weather). The launch was relatively successful - the rocket took off, but did not reach the expected altitude (in the broadcast recording, the launch was from 3:00:00).
Copenhagen Suborbitals aims to manned suborbital launch (the first manned amateur rocket) and the creation of aerospace equipment in accordance with the principles of open source, as well as funding solely through private donations and sponsorship.
