NASA has released a
series of colorful posters dedicated to the future inhabitants of Mars and the professions that will be needed on the Red Planet. Last year, the SpaceX company Ilona Mask
came up with a practically similar idea, setting everything up as if traveling to Mars and to exoplanets was a completely ordinary thing. The style of the new NASA posters is more modern, moreover, some realism is added by the fact that the agency is
really looking for astronauts to fly to Mars, and even reports such everyday details as the requirements for the candidates and their future salary.

In February of this year, the agency
reported that it received a record number of applications from those who want to become an astronaut, despite the rather stringent requirements for health and education. Judging by the published posters, many people have a chance to get to Mars: we need not only the researchers and engineers that are obvious in this case, but also teachers and farmers.

At the same time, the posters themselves are not new, but were drawn for use at the Kennedy Space Center in 2009. Each picture is laid out in two formats - jpg and tiff (4,500 × 7,200, 32.4 megapixel), so that it can be used for high-grade printing for non-commercial purposes.

NASA
claims that it plans to fly to Mars as early as 2030 and consistently executes its program (

adding that the mission will be extremely difficult.
