A well-known Chinese manufacturer of high-quality and inexpensive electronics Xiaomi presented its first multicopter - Mi Drone. 4K camera, three-axis hinge, remote control using the smartphone screen as a viewfinder. The cost of the 4K version is $ 460, and with a 1080p camera - $ 380.

Among the key features is the modularity of the drone. The camera and motors are disconnected, as is the 5100 mAh battery. According to the company, such a battery is enough for a drone for 27 minutes of flight. The developers promise that the drone weighs little, besides folded for ease of transportation. In appearance, the multicopter Mi Drone resembles Typhoon's Yuneec brand devices, but compares favorably with them in cost. The multikopter under contract with Xiaomi is a Chinese manufacturer Flymi.

The space orientation system uses GPS and GLONASS, as well as sensors to maintain the position at low altitudes - where the satellite signal is not caught. Supports automatic takeoff, landing, navigation through reference points, flying to a place selected by clicking on the map, and moving in orbit around the specified object. When you fly out of range of the remote control, the multicopter will automatically go back to avoid getting lost.

Automation determines when the battery starts to sit down, and independently returns the drone home. The device recognizes the presence of no-fly zones - their multicopter will be automatically avoided. The camera can work in live video mode, limited to 720p resolution from a distance of up to two kilometers.
