In addition to books, Telegram began to spread overseas and domestic TV shows.

Almost immediately after the appearance of information about the creation of the bot "Flibusta" in the Telegram messenger, which allows users to download books in electronic format, another interesting news appeared. In the same messenger, the unknown created a channel “New Season”, where now a series of foreign and domestic TV series are regularly laid out. Among the other materials that can be found on this channel are “Game of Thrones”, “The X-Files”, “Vinyl”, cartoons “Futurama”, “Family Guy” and “South Park”, plus the domestic series “Method”.

Publications of this nature appeared around mid-February. After some time, the presenters of the Flibusta channel noticed the “New Season”, and almost immediately after this, the new channel had hundreds and thousands of subscribers. The same channel was also noted by the adviser to the president of the Russian Federation on the Internet, German Klimenko. I recall earlier, he stated that Pavel Durov, the creator of Telegram, would have to either cooperate with the authorities of different countries, including the Russian Federation, or the instant messenger would be banned.

Now German Klimenko predicts "big trouble" as Durov, due to the illegal distribution of copyrighted content in the Telegram, and the messenger himself, writes "Russian news service." “The fact that the service defiantly violates copyrights - if Durov deliberately does this, then he flies very risky, remembering the first records of our pilots under the bridge? And it is not clear, either Durov misleads us with Telegram growth rates, or this is a public relations campaign, but it’s very risky, it seems to me, it will end sadly, ”said Klimenko.

He believes that international courts will treat the placement of pirated content with greater severity than in Russia.

“Durov, probably, has a reflex of success since“ Vkontakte ”. But the nuance is what is now an international resource. There were many lawsuits in Russia demanding to close Vkontakte, but our Themis is complicated. And now one of the right holders said that if Telegram does not respond, they will be served in international courts. And there is a different attitude. Rights holders there are worse than terrorists. Durov does not want to close the terrorists, and with the author's accounts, he can run into very big trouble, ”Klimenko commented on the situation.
