Swatch is preparing to release Tissot Smart-Touch - smart watches with mechanical hands that can show the weather, altitude and time. In other words, the new version of T-Touch released in 1999, only with synchronization with a smartphone.

In 1999, the Swiss watch manufacturer Tissot (a member of the concern The Swatch Group Ltd.) released a device that gave him a headache in terms of a huge number of breakdowns. It was a Tissot T-Touch watch, a stylish gadget with a mechanical hand, but a touchscreen glass that serves as a barometer, altimeter, compass and other functions.

commenting on the announcement of the new Tissot Smart-Touch watch, said: “Other smart watches are miniature smartphones on hand. Our device primarily shows time. ” The manufacturer plans to sell from 20 to 40 thousand devices per year.
